- Be prepared to elaborate on your "strengths and weaknesses"
- Arrive early for the interview! Plan travel arrangements thoroughly
- Your manner should be professional, polite and confident rather than overly informal.
- Grooming and presentation are very important considerations. You get only one chance to make a first impression!
- Use a firm handshake and maintain eye contact with your interviewer
- Avoid negative or critical comments regarding past or present employers
- Take a "show and tell". Not only can this create a point of difference, it is also a valuable way for you to take control of the conversation and demonstrate capability
